Menu planning can be a lifesaver if you are on a tight schedule during the week.  Taking the time to come up with a plan can be daunting depending on your level of experience in the kitchen, the number of recipes you have and if you have enough time to sit down and make a plan.  I find coming up with a plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner can take me 45 minutes or more.  I don’t cook for every meal, but I like to know what I’m going to eat at every meal.  Right now I am trying to eat as Whole 30 as possible.  Discovering Real Plans automated menu planning was a game changer.

I feel like Real Plans is saving me a couple of hours each week.  Coming up with the plan from an extensive list of recipes can be tough.  Then you have to come up with the grocery list.  Real Plans take care of all of the work for you.  It saves me approximately 8 hours a month.  What could you do with 8 hours extra in your month?

When taking on a Whole 30, it is imperative that you know what you are going to eat for each meal.  This type of eating requires cooking, and Cooking requires time, and time requires a plan. Enter Real Plans automated menu planning for your lifestyle.  Real Plans takes the hard labor out of meal planning and populates you week with recipes that fit your dietary constraints.

Step by Step Recipe Cards

One of the things I love about Real Plans is the step by step recipe instructions.  You swipe to the left to get the next step.  The neat thing is if you swipe up at any time your ingredients are listed, so you don’t have swipe all the way to the beginning. Real Plans has an app for android and apple devices.

Real Plans thought about it all; you can adjust the serving size for every recipe, and it updates your shopping list.  I have been using the cooking for one option, and I’m finding I can stretch it into two servings on the recipes I have tried.  It also adjusts your timeline.  If you are like me taking the frozen meat out of the fridge to defrost has ruined many a nightly plan.  Real Plans tells you when to take the item out for it to be defrosted in time for preparation.

Don’t plan cooking every day of the week?  Real Plans allows you to customize what days of the week you do cook and takes that into account when creating your meal plans.  You can then customize further by modifying your meal plan.  You can delete meals, change meals, and move meals to different days.

You can also import recipes from any site.  You can customize the recipes already loaded into real plans. And you can create recipes from scratch.  You are guaranteed not to get sick of eating the same thing over and over.  The Whole 30 recipe book on real plans has over 500 recipes alone, and I’m adding more every day.

How much does Real Plans cost?

Real Plans has a tier for every budget or even time frame.  Whether you just need help for a month getting plans together for a change in eating habits, or you need this for your everyday routine, Real Plans has an option for monthly, quarterly, and annually.  You can cancel your subscription at any time, but not early. If you sign up for the yearly plan, you will have access for the full year.

I’ve been using Real Plans for a couple of weeks, and I feel as if it has already paid for itself in the time and money it has saved me.
